NCW issues notices to Yogendra Yadav, Joginder Singh Ugrahan over sexual assault on woman activist

The National Commission for Women has issued notices to activist Yogendra Yadav and BKU president Joginder Singh Ugrahan over reports of sexual assault on an activist, who had travelled from West Bengal to join the farmers’ protest at Tikri border.
The National Commission for Women on Tuesday issued notices to activist Yogendra Yadav, who is currently linked with the farmers' agitation, and Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta-Ugrahan) president Joginder Singh Ugrahan over reports of the sexual assault on a protester at the Tikri border protest site. It is being alleged that Yogendra Yadav and other protesters of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha were aware of the sexual assault committed upon the girl but unfortunately, they did not inform the police about the incident. The Commission has sent a notice to Yadav seeking an explanation for the delay in informing police about the incident.”More Related News
