The U.S. Navy located an EA-18G Growler jet on Wednesday that crashed near Mount Rainier in Washington on Tuesday, though the status of the two-person crew is unknown.
While the plane has been located, the status of the two crew members remains unknown as search efforts continue. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, where the jet was based out of, said the EA-18G Growler from Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 130 reportedly crashed at about 3:25 p.m. during a routine training flight.
