Dinah Braun Griffin is the daughter of Holocaust survivors Shony Alex Braun and Shari Mendelovits. In 2023, Dinah fulfilled her father’s final wish by traveling with her Los Angeles-based family (husband Bob and two children Sierra and Dane) to Poland, where Shony’s 15-minute "Symphony of the Holocaust" was played at the Auschwitz-Birkenau gates "to bring some beauty to a horrible place."
