Tiffany Crutcher, whose great-grandmother Rebecca Brown Crutcher, survived the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, says that bills like HB 1775, signed by Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt to prohibit the teaching of critical race theory, whitewash the legacy of racial violence in her state and, in robbing students of the chance to learn the truth in the classroom, doom all the state's residents to repeat that dark history.
