A Mumbai doctor has been working non-stop without any leave to save his patients even after testing positive for Covid-19 by attending to them virtually.
While the city grapples with the devastating second wave of Covid-19, a Mumbai doctor has been working non-stop without any leave to save his patients, even after contracting the virus himself. Dr Dinesh Singh (61), runs a clinic in Mumbai's Khar east area. He has been a part of the battle against Covid-19 since March last year. Even when he tested positive for Covid-19 last month and was under home isolation, he did not take a single day’s leave. He attended to his patients over the phone. Dr Singh has now defeated Covid-19 and is back in action. He said, "I had organised a blood donation camp following which I felt exhausted and developed fever. I immediately got tested and isolated myself. I was feeling bad for my patients. At home, I talked to patients over the phone and gave them consultancy. I did not fear the coronavirus as I was taking all the necessary precautions. I always look forward to increasing my immunity."More Related News
