Mumbai continues to receive showers, witness waterlogging; on orange alert till July 10

Three people were injured in a landslide in Mumbai which continued to get pounded by heavy showers for the fourth day on Thursday. The city has been put on orange alert till July 10.
As incessant rainfall continued to lash Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, normal life was thrown out of gear for Mumbaikars as the city witnessed severe waterlogging and traffic snarls.
Waterlogging was reported on nearly 20 streets and locations due to torrential rains, also causing delays in local train services. Low-lying areas, including Andheri, Kurla and Chembur among others, were inundated in knee-deep water.
