MoPH reports 984 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported on Wednesday 984 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19). 745 of these are from community cases and 239 from travellers returning from abroad. The MOPH recorded 601 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 171,388. Eight new deaths were recorded ages 46, 54, 57, 58, 70, 76, 87 and 89, five of them were chronic diseases, and had received the necessary medical care.
