MME announces conclusion of winter camping season

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment on Sunday announced that the winter camping season 2020-2021 will be ending on 21 May. In a tweet Sunday, the ministry urged all owners of winter camps to promptly remove their tents and personal belongings and leave the camping sites clean. MME also warned that camps still remain at sites after May 21 will be removed and the cost for their removal will be deducted from the security deposit. The Ministry also announced the launching of the stage 3 of the campaign to remove encroachments on state property, in accordance with Law No.10 of 1987. Stage.3 will include Al-Suwaihliya, Abu Sidra, Labsair , Al-Sana, L'wayna, Khouzan,  the South Area, Um Jassim, Athba, Um Baraka, Samsama, South M'iether and Urn Al-Afa'i. The campaign will be from on May 23 to August 23, 2021. The ministry urged all to cooperate during the course of the campaign to protect the public interest.
