A gun violence restraining order was served against Larry Millete on May 5, just two days before the Chula Vista Police Department executed a search warrant at the home he shares with his wife, Maya Millete, who went missing more than four months ago.
San Diego Police Detective Justin Garlow wrote that he received two pictures from Chula Vista police that were downloaded from Larry Millete's phone on Jan. 23, when authorities first served a search warrant at Larry's house. The photos were dated Jan. 9, which is just two days after Maya disappeared from the home. "The photographs I received depicted a kitchen table with a cache of 16 firearms, 4 United States Passports, a government Identification card, several high capacity magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition," Garlow wrote in the request for the restraining order. "The cache of firearms included two short barreled AR-15 illegal assault weapon platforms, five (undetermined legality AR-15 platform rifles, three pump shotguns, one bolt action rifle with scope, and five semi-automatic handguns."More Related News
