A study showing most FDA rules were issued without the backing of a senior Senate-appointed official has sparked a bill aimed at reining in overzealous federal rulemakers.
Cline said too many regulations are released by minor agency officials, which has led to myriad new rules that contribute to soaring federal mandates, which he said costs 10% of America’s gross domestic product each year. Pete Kasperowicz is a politics editor at Fox News Digital.
