Minnesota woman sheds 117 pounds after losing her job amid COVID: 'A healing journey'
Fox News
Katie Schmitt of Rochester, Minn., told Fox News Digital about the weight loss journey she began amid the hard times of the COVID pandemic — and the benefits she's now reaped.
Schmitt was about 100 pounds overweight, had high blood pressure and had low energy, she said. "I was thrown into a different life during the pandemic." "Do I feel healthy? Do I have the energy?" "It’s much easier than I thought it would be at this point." "You get to re-imagine what weight loss looks like."
She had worked, at that point, at the same company for 10 years, she said.
