Minnesota's historic Lutsen Lodge Resort had unresolved inspection violations prior to fire

Minnesota regulators have reported that Lutsen Lodge, a historic lodge destroyed in a fire, had three unresolved fire code violations from a recent inspection.

A news release from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety said the State Fire Marshal division performed an inspection in July and found seven violations. The agency said the property owner repaired four of them.
