Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) issued a public warning on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, advising consumers in Qatar not to use or consume specific batches of infant milk products marketed under the Nestle brand.
In a post on X, the ministry said the warning relates to selected batches of infant formula products that were withdrawn from the local market after suspicions of contamination with a toxin associated with Bacillus cereus bacteria.
The ministry urged parents and caregivers to exercise caution and prioritise the health and safety of infants.
The Ministry clarified that the affected products and their batch numbers are detailed in the accompanying photo released with the advisory, and called on consumers to carefully check the product names and batch information before use.
