Ministry prohibits car repair works in public parking and sidewalks

Doha: Ministry of commerce and Industry has announced regulations to be followed by auto repair workshops in cities and commercial streets, which prohibits doing repair work in public parking and sidewalks.

The ministry said in a post: Within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment and the Ministry of Interior, aimed at regulating and controlling commercial activities in the country, and in accordance with the laws, controls and requirements in force in the country, the following is prohibited for shops that carry out maintenance and repair cars in cities and commercial streets: Conducting its business and activities outside the site of the license granted to it, in public parking lots, sidewalks, adjacent squares, or between residential neighbourhoods.
