Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality and Hassad Food Company announced that the opening of the "Traditional Market" exhibition will be held tomorrow, as part of the scheduled exhibitions for Umm Salal Winter Festival.

The exhibition will run for 10 days starting December 5, at the Umm Salal Central Market.

The exhibition will showcase a diverse group of Qatari traditional products such as traditional furniture, carpets, oils, dates, perfumes, and many others with the aim of meeting the needs of the visitors and supporting local products.

On this occasion, Mohamed Ghanim Al Kubaisi, the General Manager of Aswaq for Food Facilities Management Company, said the launch of the Traditional Market, the second exhibition as part of the Umm Salal Winter Festival reflects the companys keenness to showcase the Qatari cultural and heritage identity by organizing such events, which serves the needs of the local community and supports the local products.

Al Kubaisi highlighted that such events are in line with Hassad Food Companys strategy, which aims to contribute to achieving food security for the State of Qatar.
