Davos: The Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, HE Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed met with several ranking officials on the sidelines of his participation at the World Economic Forum (Davos 2026), currently taking place in Switzerland.
His Excellency met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic HE Andrej Babis, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness of the French Republic, HE Nicolas Forissier, Director of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the Swiss Confederation HE Helene Budliger.
The meetings dealt with discussing the enhancement of trade and investment ties between the State of Qatar and those countries. It also dealt with expanding the scope of joint economic cooperation, facilitating trade, and supporting partnerships among the business communities, as well as exchanging views on the recent regional and international economic developments.
His Excellency also met with several representatives of global companies, including the White House's Special Advisor for AI and Crypto David Sacks, who also chairs the Presidential Council of Advisors for Science and Technology. The meeting came within the framework of enhancing the partnership with the private sector globally.
