Wind chills are down into the 20s in the Carolinas and into the negative single digits for Ohio and Michigan.
Wind chills in the minus 20s are possible in Michigan and Ohio through Saturday morning, with wind chills in the minus 10s possible from southern Ohio and West Virginia down to northern Virginia.
The wind chills this morning in Pennsylvania and upstate New York are in the minus 10s and 20s also.
Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect across much of the Northeast, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
