Militants open fire at wife, daughter of J&K cop in Anantnag on eve of Eid

The wife and daughter of a police constable in Jammu and Kashmir have been rushed to a hospital after militants opened fire at them in Anantnag on Tuesday evening.

Militants opened fire at the wife and daughter of a J&K cop in Kokagund Verinag area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Tuesday evening. The victims, identified as Naidha Jan and Madhiya, suffered injuries during the attack and have been rushed to a hospital.
