Microsoft Teams will soon roll out Together Mode for small virtual groups

Microsoft is working on giving support for smaller meetings -- for as few as two people, in Together Mode. Currently, at least five people were required in a room to enable Together Mode.
Microsoft launched Together Mode last July that enables participants in a virtual meeting to be in a single virtual space. It is aimed at making people feel like they are sitting in the same room as they are able to see other participants’ non-verbal cues. Now, Microsoft is working on giving support for smaller meetings in Together Mode. The new feature will also work for one person, for those who prefer to sit alone in a café environment from the comfort of their homes and brainstorm. Together Mode uses AI-powered segmentation to digitally place participants in a shared background. Love the fact I can use together mode in #MicrosoftTeams with only two people when I'm on the developer preview I'm almost never in meetings with 5 or more peopleGreat change pic.twitter.com/86bAitGBTWMore Related News
