Microsoft might launch the Surface Go 2 very soon. The company has not officially confirmed any details about the Microsoft Laptop Surface Go 2 launch date at the time of writing this. A report claims that the new Microsoft laptop will be available for pre-order starting June 2. The specifications and features of the Surface Go 2 have also leaked online.
A South Korean retailer has listed the spec sheet of the upcoming Microsoft Laptop Surface Go 2. The listing, spotted by The Verge, reveals that the Surface Go 2 will come with an 11th generation Intel CPU (i5-1135G7) processor. While it is an upgrade over the 2020 model, which came with a 10th generation Intel chip, there are laptops out there which feature the latest 12th-generation Intel processors.
As expected from a Microsoft machine, the Surface Go 2 will come with Windows 11 OS out of the box. The report further suggests that the laptop will come with an improved HD camera.
One of the configurations will offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Microsoft is likely to provide more RAM and storage options along with different variants of the Intel chip.
In addition to this, it is being reported that the Surface Go 2 will offer up to 13.5 hours of battery life. The second-generation laptop will come with a 12.4-inch screen. It will have a 3:@ aspect ratio. The laptop will also have multiple I/O ports, including a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a proprietary charging port.
While there is no information on the key travel, the report states that the Surface Go 2 will come with a backlit keyboard. It will launch in four colours - Ice Blue, Sandstone, Sage and Platinum.
A separate report from WinFuture claimed that the Surface Go 2 will have a starting price of $650 (roughly Rs 50,400). The official pricing details could be announced soon. There is no word on the India launch of the Microsoft laptop. We can expect it to arrive soon in India.
