Michigan landlord Chad Allen Reed was sentenced to life without parole for the murder of tenant Jaclyn Lepird and also a consecutive 125 years sentence for shooting her boyfriend.
Battle Creek Circuit Court Judge Sarah S. Lincoln ordered Reed to serve life without parole on the first-degree murder charge and – consecutively – 125 years on the second-degree murder charge, per court records reviewed by Fox News Digital. "We were very pleased with the decision," Lepird's sister Trinity McAllister told FOX 17 in a statement after the sentencing.
