Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of Municipality, has announced a significant enhancement to the vehicle ownership transfer system, now available through the Metrash mobile application.

This update makes the process faster, more secure, and user-friendly.

With the latest upgrade, vehicle ownership can now be transferred seamlessly via the Metrash app, provided the vehicle has a valid registration and there are no outstanding traffic violations.

The system now incorporates a critical verification step, requiring the buyer’s confirmation before finalizing the transaction — adding an extra layer of transparency and control for both parties.

To initiate a vehicle ownership transfer, users should begin by opening the Metrash app and navigating to the Traffic Services section on the home page.
