Met Gala 2024 live updates: Red carpet arrivals begin with a flowery start
NY Post
It’s the most fashionable Monday of the year.
It’s Met Gala Monday, where the brightest stars will walk the red carpet and up the stairs leading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in their finest couture. The night celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” set to showcase fashion’s history with nearly 250 of the most beautiful archival designs ever made.
As for the celeb fashion, expect to see lots of flowers — florals for spring, groundbreaking! — as the theme for the night is “The Garden of Time,” based on the 1962 short story written by author J.G. Ballard.
Follow The Post’s live coverage of the 2024 Met Gala red carpet, complete with show-stopping celebrity outfits and can’t-miss moments:

Over a period of three days, with limited VPN connection, an eyewitness currently in Tehran — who, for her safety, is concealing her identity — shared her account of life under a country in the midst of battle with The Post’s Natasha Pearlman.
