Meghalaya: IED blast by militants in Shillong market injures 2

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast by militants in Shillong market on Tuesday injured two persons.

At least two persons, including a woman, were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast by militants in Meghalaya's capital city Shillong on Tuesday. Strongly condemn the IED blast reported in Laitumkhrah earlier this afternoon that has injured two citizens. Home Minister, @LahkmenR & officials of @MeghalayaPolice have apprised me on the matter and further investigation is being carried out. The blast took place at around 1.30 pm in Shillong’s popular market hub in Laitumkhrah area.
