Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) has successfully concluded the second season of the 2025 Summer Environmental Club, which ran for two weeks and engaged 20 students through a comprehensive programme of awareness lectures, specialised workshops, and field visits.
The initiative aimed to instil environmental sustainability values and raise awareness about climate change among the participants.
Organised as part of the Ministry’s commitment to empowering youth in environmental initiatives, the club supports Qatar National Vision 2030—particularly its environmental development pillar—by equipping the younger generation with knowledge and tools to contribute to a sustainable future.
The first week of the program featured a diverse range of educational and awareness activities.
These included interactive lectures, workshops, and site visits focused on strengthening environmental consciousness, exploring current ecological challenges, and highlighting individual roles in supporting national sustainability efforts.
