McCaul says Blinken trying to ‘stonewall’ Afghanistan subpoena for key withdrawal doc as hearings begin
Fox News
Secretary of State Antony Blinken has not complied with a congressional subpoena for documents relating to President Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan.
"If [Blinken] doesn’t comply with the subpoena, then it takes it into litigation," McCaul told Punchbowl News on Tuesday. "Honestly, I think they’re trying to stonewall this until the end of this Congress." Anders Hagstrom is a reporter with Fox News Digital covering national politics and major breaking news events. The State Department's refusal to cooperate with the subpoena comes as the House Oversight Committee will begin its own set of hearings on the Afghanistan withdrawal Wednesday.
