Flags were flown at half-staff at the U.S. Capitol on Saturday in honor of the 13 U.S. military members who died in a suicide bombing while evacuating Afghanistan two years ago.
"Two years ago today, we tragically lost 13 brave service men and women in Afghanistan," McCarthy said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
