Fox News
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas will address reporters in Tucson, Arizona, to tout the Biden administration's efforts on immigration after a drop in border encounters.
Border Patrol's seven-day average of illegal migrant encounters dropped from well over 5,000 to about 2,200, according to the latest Customs and Border Protection numbers obtained by Fox News. Mayorkas said border encounters were "moving in the right direction" in an appearance on MSNBC Wednesday morning. Chris Pandolfo is a writer for Fox News Digital.
