The 40-mile Russian convoy outside Kyiv, Ukraine, has been stalled for three days

The convoy, which is about 40 miles long, is stalled about 20 miles outside of Kyiv. The menacing convoy could encircle the capital and prevent anyone from leaving, laying siege on the key city.

A Taliban spokesman said that at least 4 people were killed, including three foreign nationals, after gunmen opened fire in Afghanistan's Bamyan province; four suspects have been arrested.
