Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a surprise announcement on Friday, repealed the three farm laws saying he felt that the government “failed” to make the farmers aware of the benefits of the laws. Moments later, a video clip of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi predicting the withdrawal of farm laws went viral on social media platforms.
