
Man dies after shooting in Burnaby, B.C.

Homicide investigators are looking into a fatal shooting in Burnaby, B.C., on Thursday evening.
Police say that they received reports of a shooting near the 3700-block of Canada Way, near the intersection of Boundary Road, just before 5:30 p.m. PT.
They found a man who was shot, and died despite life-saving efforts.
After the shooting, police said they found a vehicle on fire in the 5000-block of Buxton Street, and they're working to determine if it's linked to the fatal shooting.
Investigators say they believe the shooting was targeted and there is no further risk to the public.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is asking anyone with more information, including dashcam footage, to contact them.
