Male dead after shots fired at vehicle in Brampton, police say

A male is dead after gunshots were fired at a vehicle in Brampton on Monday evening, Peel police say.
The shooting happened in the area of Hurontario Street and Bartley Bull Parkway, near Steeles Avenue E. Police were called to the area shortly after 7 p.m.
Police said in a post on social media that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is a heavy police presence in the area as officers continue to investigate the homicide.
Police have not released a description of any suspects or the suspect vehicle.
