Maharashtra youth is first from state to get selected as scientist at Isro

Somnath Mali has been selected as a senior scientist at Isro. He is the first student from Maharashtra to bag the job at the Indian space agency.

It was a proud moment for Somnath Mali's parents when he became the first student from Maharashtra to get selected as a senior scientist with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Somnath hails from Sarkoli village in Pandharpur Tehsil of Solapur district in Maharashtra. On June 2, Somnath was selected as a senior scientist at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
