"Maharashtra In Favour Of Maratha Quota": Eknath Shinde After All-Party Meet

The Maharashtra government is in favour of the Maratha quota, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said today after an all-party meeting in Mumbai.

Marathas should observe restraint as the government needs time for legal modalities to implement the quota, he said amid protests by Maratha community.

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil should cooperate with the government in ensuring quota for the Maratha community, he added.
