Madras HC to hear Vijay's appeal against judge's Reel Hero remark in Rolls-Royce Ghost case

On Monday, July 19, the court will hear Vijay’s appeal regarding Justice SM Subramaniam’s order dismissing the actor’s plea for seeking tax exemption on his Rolls-Royce Ghost. The legal team of Vijay will also highlight the Reel Hero remark made in the judgement.

The Madras High Court Division Bench will hear Thalapathy Vijay's appeal regarding the order passed by single judge, Justice SM Subramaniam, dismissing his plea seeking exemption on entry tax collection for his 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost. Vijay was fined Rs 1 lakh and was asked to deposit the money to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. Vijay’s legal team will also now approach the court against the verdict to highlight the judge’s remark made in the judgement.
