
Louisiana suspect arrested in high school football game shooting after teen killed

Louisiana police have arrested 18-year-old Jarrettin R. Jackson II and accused him of murder in the shooting death of Ja'Kobe Queen at a high school football game.
The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. during a football game between Port Allen High School and Brusly High School. A 16-year-old male victim was shot in the head and taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injury. A 28-year-old woman was also shot and wounded, police said. Officials ended the game at halftime after the incident, moving bystanders out of the area as medics and law enforcement arrived at the scene.
