Loni assault: Court grants bail to 4 accused of thrashing elderly man, 1 in custody

The court on Friday granted bail to four people accused of thrashing the elderly man in the Loni assault case. Only one accused is currently in custody.

The Ghaziabad court on Friday granted bail to four more accused of thrashing 72-year-old Sufi Abdul Samad Saifi in the Loni assault case. On Thursday, the police had arrested the four who were presented in court on Friday. The accused were identified as Himanshu, Babu, Anas and Shabez. So far, the police have arrested a total of nine people in the case. Of them, eight have been granted bail. Only main accused Parvesh Gujjar, who was the first to be arrested, remains under police custody.
