COVID-19 patients from Saskatchewan who require critical care can now get support in London, Ont.
The London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) told CBC News that they've received fewer than five critical care patients from the province, which reported 851 deaths on Sunday.

The hospital will continue to be available to provide further support as directed by the Ontario Critical Care COVID Command Centre, said Dr. Adam Dukelow, Chief Medical Officer of LHSC.
"I don't have specific numbers, I wouldn't be surprised if we admit more patients from Saskatchewan but can't be specific," he said, adding that none are expected in the coming days.

"The COVID Critical Command table is reassessing this every day and working directly with the province of Saskatchewan and their health care system."
On Monday, the hospital implemented new vaccination policies to protect their staff and vulnerable patients.
Patients on a waiting list for an organ transplant must have received both doses of their COVID-19 vaccine. Those who have not been fully vaccinated will be placed on a hold until they've either received both doses, or their exemptions are approved by their care team.
The LHSC also implemented a new 'care partner policy' which requires all non-essential care partners to show proof of vaccination before entering the premises.
Exceptions to this policy include essential care partners, such as those accompanying women in labour, or parents bringing their children to appointments. The policy also does not apply to patients at the hospital.
On Monday, the MLHU reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.
