Little girl goes viral on TikTok for crying over missing guacamole
NY Post
A five-year-old Colorado girl captured the internet’s heart with a video of her crying over a food chain forgetting her “favorite” sauce – and leading to her crowning as a guacamole princess.
“I’m very heartbroken QDOBA, cause you forgot my favorite sauce, guacamole,” lil’ red-haired Astoria “Stori” Massa says with tears streaming down her face in an April 30 TikTok video posted by her mother – which has since racked up 5.5 million views.
To make things right, QDOBA, a Mexican restaurant chain, deemed Astoria their “Chief Guacamole Officer,” gifting her an official chef jacket and hat, teaching her how to whip up their secret recipe — and even putting her to work behind the counter.
Massa told The Post how utterly “sad” she felt after learning her beloved side of avocado goodness was missing from her order, which typically includes a chicken and cheese quesadilla, chips, a large guacamole and a brownie for dessert, she said.
“My mom tried to give me salsa instead. I said, ‘No, take that outta here. Nope, I don’t want that! I want the guacamole!'” she recalled.
Her mother captured the “heartbreaking and hilarious” moment on video, which she originally intended for Astoria’s grandmother and aunt’s eyes only.
