LIC hikes stake in Bank of India to 8.38%

LIC increases stake in Bank of India to 8.38% over four years, shares close at ₹112.55.
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has hiked its stake in Bank of India (BoI) to 8.38% as of May 9.
LIC has bought about 2.026% stake in public sector BoI between September 2, 2021, and May 9, 2025, BoI said in a stock exchange disclosure on Tuesday (May 13, 2025).

LIC's stake in the bank has increased from 6.35% to 8.38% over the four-year period.
Shares of Bank of India closed at ₹112.55, up 2.27% over the previous close on the BSE.
