Doha: In the presence of Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Lekhwiya launched its strategic plan 2024-2030.

The launching ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, leaders, and directors from various military, security, and civilian state agencies.

In his remarks during the ceremony, Deputy Commander of Lekhwiya H E Staff Major General Mohammed Misfer Al Shahwani said that the announcement of the strategy comes as a culmination of strenuous efforts and tireless work to develop a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing the security capabilities of the force and achieving security and stability for the homeland.

He pointed out that the new strategy is in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, and with the directives of the wise leadership that emphasize the importance of sustainable development and achieving a balance between security and development to achieve a safe and stable environment.
