Join the Leather Fashion Show 2026 in Chennai on February 1, showcasing innovative designs and craftsmanship in leather.
A wide range of products across leather categories will be showcased at the Leather Fashion Show 2026 to be organised by the Indian Finished Leather Manufacturers and Exporters Association (IFLMEA) in the city on February 1, demonstrating the industry’s capabilities.
The IFLMEA will host the Leather Fashion Show on February 1 and a Brand Symposium on February 2 at ITC Grand Chola.
Addressing a press conference held in the city on Thursday (Janaury 29, 2026), Ateequr Rahman, IFLMEA chairman, said the fashion show would be a strategic platform for leather goods and footwear manufacturers to showcase innovative designs and craftsmanship to a global market.
He noted that the recent India-E.U. Free Trade Agreement would help boost exports. The IFLMEA expects a local and exports trade growth of 15%-20% in three years. The show has been organised for over six decades.
K.R. Vijayan, convenor, Fashion Show and Brand Symposium 26, said the fashion show would feature 14 major Indian leather goods manufacturers demonstrating their products, including designer leather garments, footwear, and accessories, in ovine and bovine leather categories. The show would feature 14 showstoppers and 70 models, directed by Bhaskaran Chandrasekhar and choreographed by Jude Felix.
The symposium, being organised for the second year, aims to act as a bridge between manufacturers and retailers across India and forge partnerships for private label opportunities. Yavar Dhala, co-convenor, Brand Symposium 26, said about 50 retailers and 20 domestic brands are expected to participate in the symposium. Nearly 750 people are expected to attend the fashion show.
