
Lawrence Taylor, ex-Giants all-in on Bill Belichick’s UNC pivot: ‘Best the NFL can give them’

Bill Belichick’s former Giants are certain that the GOAT choosing to graze on the campus of the University of North Carolina is a match made in heaven.
“They got the best the NFL can give them right now,” North Carolina alum Lawrence Taylor told The Post. “The University of North Carolina, you got the best that the NFL can send you right now, OK? Let’s see what you do with that.”
L.T. would be a willing and able ambassador for the school and for Belichick.
“I would love the opportunity to do that,” Taylor said. “If I can help him and he thinks I can help him in a certain area, I’m more than willing to daggone help.”

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.
