Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6. She was 92. Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for the legendary singer on social media. In her illustrious career that spanned over several decades, Lata Mangeshkar provided vocals to countless gems, such as Lag Jaa Gale, Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh and Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai.

Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon is another special song voiced by the singer, famously known as the nightingale of India. After her demise, netizens shared videos of the legendary singer performing this song with heartfelt messages.

Major Surendra Poonia took to Twitter and shared a clip. “Every Soldier’s Favourite Song. This song united whole Bharat. Each & Every-time! Gratitude & Salute (sic),” he wrote.
