Lakhimpur Kheri case | Ashish Misra, three others sent to two-day police custody

Four of the accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, including prime accused Ashish Misra, have been sent to two days’ police remand.

The investigators’ plea for remand of Ashish Misra, Ankit Das, Latif alias Kale, and Shekhar Bharti was approved at 5pm on Friday. Four other accused, including Sumit Jaiswal, are also in police custody in the Lakhimpur violence case. All the accused are being questioned for leads in the case.
