Tribune News NetworkDohaMinister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari on Sunday met with the Malaysian Minister of Rural Development Datuk Dr. Abd Latiff Ahmad and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.During the meeting, the officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of cooperation, especially in the trade, investment, and industrial fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them. Discussions also touched on the trade policies between the two countries.The meeting reviewed the efforts exerted by both sides to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.During the meeting, Kuwari spoke of the economic policies that Qatar had adopted including the package of incentives and legislation that contribute to increasing foreign investment and creating more investment opportunities for companies looking to invest in Qatar.
