Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta heaped rich praise on Krunal Pandya, saying the India all-rounder overcame a personal loss to deliver on his ODI debut and prove to the world that he belongs to the highet level at international cricket. Deep Dasgupta, speaking to Sports Today on Wednesday, said Krunal Pandya is much like the younger generation cricketers, who, according to him, are emotional and not afraid of showcasing it on the field. Dasgupta's comments came after Krunal Pandya broke the world record for the fastest fifty by an ODI debutant. Krunal hit an unbeaten 58 from just 31 balls as he helped India seal a 66-run win in the first ODI of a 3-match series against England in Pune on Tuesday.
