Knicks signing veteran PJ Tucker to another 10-day contract as playoff decision looms
NY Post
CHARLOTTE — The Knicks are signing PJ Tucker to a second 10-day contract Thursday, The Post has learned.
Tucker, 39, played sparingly on his first 10-day deal — which expired Wednesday night — but quickly became a popular presence in the locker room.
Tucker’s next contract runs through March 29 and includes five more games.
After that expires, the Knicks must either sign Tucker for the rest of the season and playoffs or waive him.
Tucker logged two minutes in his season debut Wednesday night during garbage time of a loss to the Spurs.
Before that, he hadn’t played since the 2024 playoffs with the Clippers.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.
