Knicks fans attack Tyrese Haliburton doll outside MSG in ‘social experiment’ gone wrong
NY Post
Tyrese Haliburton was largely a non-factor for the Pacers in their Game 5 loss.
But that didn’t mean rabid Knicks fans weren’t going to take their overall frustrations out on the Indiana star on Thursday night.
Even if that meant destroying a doll representing him — featuring a photo of Haliburton’s head and a Pacers logo — outside the Garden.
Video of fans attacking it circulated on X, as it showed the stomping in exuberance after the Knicks did their own pummeling of the Pacers, 111-94.
Henry Wang said he was responsible for bringing the doll outside the World’s Most Famous Arena in what he called a “social experiment.”
The experiment didn’t last long.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
