KGF Chapter 2 box office collection Day 48: Yash's film sees a decline in 7th week

Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 earned less than Rs 1 crore for the first time in seven weeks. So far, the film has collected Rs 1239.12 crore worldwide.

Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 saw a major drop in collections for the first time in seven weeks. On May 31, the film earned less than Rs 1 crore for the first time. The action drama had a stupendous theatrical run for over a month and a half and shattered several box office records. After 48 days, KGF 2 is likely to end its theatrical run in another few days from now.

KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the most successful films in recent times. The film crossed Rs 1200 crore worldwide and is still running in selected theatres.

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, KGF Chapter 2 collected less than Rs 1 crore for the first time in 48 days. His post read, "#KGFChapter2 WW Box Office Week 1 to 5 - Rs 1210.53 cr. Week 6 - Rs 19.84 cr. Week 7 Day 1 - Rs 1.02 cr. Day 2 - Rs 1.34 cr. Day 3 - Rs 2.41 cr. Day 4 - Rs 3.06 cr. Day 5 - Rs 0.92 cr. Total - Rs 1239.12 cr. 1st less than Rs 1 cr day for #KGF2 (sic)."

KGF: Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is produced on a massive budget of Rs 100 crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. The period action drama features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, music director Ravi Basrur and editor Ujwal Kulkarni are part of the technical team.
